Negotiating Plea Deals

After evaluating your case and providing legal representation, Drewniak Nicks Legal Defense PLLC will begin negotiations with the State or Federal Prosecutor, often this step in the process of your legal defense is used to see how strong of a case the opposing counsel thinks they may have, it’s also used to simply see what the mindset of the prosecutor is. In the event we cannot get a dismissal, or there is a high to moderate risk of jail time, Sandra Nicks will strive for a plea deal which often results in a lesser charge. Knowing that each case is independently different, the plea is yet another tool used on behalf of clients to get the best results possible.
